About the Teacher

Greetings!  My name is Mrs. Kim Stafford-Galaviz, and I am a third-generation Adna graduate.  Last year I had the honor of replacing Mr. Nick Pearce as art teacher at Adna.  Mr. Pearce was my art teacher back in "the day," and I hope to continue his legacy of quality teaching and artwork.  My credentials?  I have a Master of Arts in Teaching from George Fox University, seventeen years of teaching experience in Western Washington, and I am an artist as well.  I do mainly mixed media collage.  I was fortunate to be raised by local bronze sculptor, Jim Stafford, and you'll see him in my classroom from time to time.
